Our 950 St. Elizabeth Drive location is temporarily closed for the rest of the school year.
We will then be moving to our new location on 979 Meridian Avenue, San Jose, 95126.
Our students and staff have temporarily enrolled at a different Montessori school in Campbell and are planning to return to us when our new campus is open.
We are conducting scheduled tours at our temporary site in preparation for the next school year. We will be offering scheduled tours at our permanent site once construction is complete.
If you are interested in enrolling your child for the next school year, you may email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at (408) 377-9888 . Please leave a message if you get the answering machine. Since at this point we are not in the office every day, it might take us a few days to return your call.
Thank you for your understanding as we work diligently on building a beautiful new and permanent location for our program.
Welcome to San Jose Montessori School. Since 1970, our preschool has been dedicated to nurturing the development of the whole child using the Montessori approach to education. This approach creates a strong foundation for both child and family that will serve them for a lifetime of learning to follow.
We are conveniently located in San Jose near Campbell, Willow Glen, and Los Gatos.
We are licensed for 48 children between the ages of 3 and 6, who are divided between our 2 classrooms. Each classroom has a Head Teacher and an Assistant Teacher, both certified by AMI (Association Montessori Internationale). The Outdoor Teacher and All Day Montessori Teacher, who works with the children later in the afternoons, is also certified by AMI.
If you are interested in an authentic Montessori preschool experience for your child, we invite you to contact us for a tour and observation.

"The most important period of life is not the age of university studies, but the first one, the period from birth to the age of six. For that is the time when man's intelligence itself, his greatest implement, is being formed."
