Our 950 St. Elizabeth Drive location is closed. Our students and staff have been temporarily enrolled at a different Montessori school in Campbell, and are planning to return to us when our new campus is open.
As we are nearing the end of the current school year, and our residence at our temporary site, we can't help but be excited over the promise of a new day and our exciting new campus on 979 Meridian Avenue, San Jose, 95126. We will be offering scheduled tours at our permanent site once construction is complete. We are expecting that to be some time around August 2018.
If you are interested in enrolling your child for the 2018/19 school year, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at (408) 377-9888. Please leave a message if you get the answering machine. Due to planning and preparation for the new site we are not in the office everyday. It may take us a few days to return your call. Rest assured, we will return your call as soon as we get your message.
Thank you for your understanding as we work diligently on building a beautiful new and permanent location for our program.
Welcome to San Jose Montessori School. Since 1970, our preschool has been dedicated to nurturing the development of the whole child using the Montessori approach to education. This approach creates a strong foundation for both child and family that will serve them for a lifetime of learning to follow.
We are conveniently located in San Jose near Campbell, Willow Glen, and Los Gatos.
We are licensed for 48 children between the ages of 3 and 6, who are divided between our 2 classrooms. Each classroom has a Head Teacher and an Assistant Teacher, both certified by AMI (Association Montessori Internationale). The Outdoor Teacher and All Day Montessori Teacher, who works with the children later in the afternoons, is also certified by AMI.
If you are interested in an authentic Montessori preschool experience for your child, we invite you to contact us for a tour and observation.

"The most important period of life is not the age of university studies, but the first one, the period from birth to the age of six. For that is the time when man's intelligence itself, his greatest implement, is being formed."
